Like any memory foam product, a small amount of settling over time is normal, but the mat is designed to stay soft, supportive and comfortable for the long term.

If you want a mat your child can comfortably grow into, have multiple children, plan on adding toys or play setups, or simply want more room to move, relax and spend time on the mat, we generally recommend the 2 × 3m or 2 × 4m sizes. Our 2 × 3m size is our most popular option as it suits most living rooms and gives children more room to comfortably enjoy as they grow. If you have the room, the 2 × 4m size is a great option for families wanting the most space, flexibility and long-term use.

If you want something your child can continue using as they grow, many families prefer the larger sizes for the extra room and flexibility over time.

Because the mat is tightly vacuum-compressed for shipping, it will begin expanding as soon as it is opened. Most of the expansion happens within the first couple of days, however we recommend allowing up to a week for the mat to fully regain its thickness and for any creases to naturally settle. You can still comfortably use and enjoy the mat while it continues expanding.
